Clifford D. Reece, 81 of Lodi, Ohio, died Friday, August 3, 2012 at Burbank Parke in Burbank, Ohio.He was born September 16, 1930 in Akron, Ohio and was a United States Air Force Veteran. Clifford was employed as a butcher for 50 years at Macks Food Center in Lodi. He was a member of American Legion Lodi Post #523 and enjoyed watching his grandchildren play sports, bowling and was a fan of the Cleveland Indians, Cleveland Browns and Ohio State University football. Clifford is survived by daughters Roberta (Donald) Whitacre of Lodi and Jean (Roger) Ridenour of Medina; six grandchildren; 19 great grandchildren; brothers Alvin (Doris) Reece of Mansfield, OH, Vance (Eleanor) Reece of New York; sisters Janice Emerson of Youngstown, OH, Nellie Parker of New Mexico, Alice Canada of Alabama and Jane Lozier of Kentucky.He was preceded in death by his wife of 49 years, Dorothy B. in 2010; parents Zeb and Vallie Reece; grandson, Donald Whitacre, Jr. and sisters Vivian Graves and Lucille Batton.The family invites everyone to bring stories and pictures to share at a celebration of life Sunday, August 12, 2012 from 2 to 5 p.m. at American Legion Lodi Post #523, 120 Bank St., Lodi, OH. Burial will be at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery, Rittman, OH. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Burbank Parke Residents Activities Fund, 14976 Burbank Rd., Burbank, OH 44214.
