Just tried calling our good friend, Dale The Tile Guy to wish him Happy Birthday and to find out when he was coming back up to Drummond. Instead I found out that he died on March 22nd. Dale tiled our house, helped Glenn tile and stone our fireplace. Glenn and Dale got to be great friends. They got into so much mischief! I can imagine that he and Glenn are now up there yucking it up, drinking beer, Glenn smoking cigarettes and Dale smoking his cigar. Standing next to each other, they made an odd pair... Glenn at 6'-3" and Dale at about 5'-3". I will miss his humor. Many people knew him on the island. His legendary tile jobs are in many of my client's homes. Thanks for the laughs, Dale!
