Daniel J. Lowery, 59, of Elyria, formerly of Lorain, died Sunday, June 8, 2014 at University Hospitals Elyria Medical Center.He was born June 7, 1955 in Elyria and was a graduate of Elyria High School.He was formerly employed at Pepsi Cola Bottling Company in Twinsburg for 20 years. He enjoyed bowling and was highly awarded for his achievements in the game.Dan is survived by his daughters Tiffani D. Lowery of Elyria and Amanda G. Lowery of Lorain; 3 grandchildren: Ivy 7, Sharron 5, Dylan 8; brothers Eugene of Elyria, Jerry, William, Frank, Gary and David Lowery; sisters Shirley, Geraldine and Judy.He was preceded in death by his parents Elton and Mary Lowery; two brothers and a twin sister Diane.A memorial service to celebrate his life will be held 11:00 a.m. Thursday, June 12, 2014 at Chestnut Ridge Baptist Church, 38550 Chestnut Ridge Rd., Elyria, OH.Dicken Funeral Home and Cremation Service, Elyria is handling arrangements.
