Daniel Carey Obituary
Daniel K. Carey, 38, of Lorain, died unexpectedly March 5, 2021 in his home. He was born July 24, 1982 in Elyria and was a 2000 Elyria High School graduate. He enjoyed his children, fishing, spending time at the beach and vacationing with his family. He loved animals and had been a volunteer at Friendship Animal Protective League. Daniel is survived by his sons, Christopher Carey of Lorain, Xavier Carey of South Amherst and Chase Carey of Lorain, parents, Kenneth and Stephanie (nee Britton) Carey of Amherst and a brother, Timothy (Michelle) Carey of North Ridgeville. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Gilbert and Emogene Britton and Frank and Viona Carey. Friends will be received Saturday March 13, 2021 from 10:30 AM until the time of a noon service at Dicken Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 323 Middle Avenue, Elyria. Reverend Joe Grof, associate pastor of Calvary Baptist Church, Norwalk will officiate. Covid 19 precautions will be observed, masks are required.
