Daniel Paul Reisig, 63, of North Ridgeville, died April 8, 2014. He was born May 5, 1950 in Anaheim; CA. Daniel was a 1968 graduate of Elyria High School and received an associate degree from Lorain County Community College.Dan is the beloved son of Elizabeth Reisig (nee Safran) and the late Carl Reisig; father of Renee’ (Josh) Powers and Melissa Reisig; brother of Carla (Jim) Grimes, Carl (Linda) Reisig Jr., John Reisig, Chris (Ann) Reisig and Ellen Reisig; grandfather of Autum, Julia, Jacob, Aaron, Elizabeth and Kayla; uncle; great-uncle and friend. Dan worked with his father and brothers in construction before pursuing a career in computer sciences as a programmer with Progressive Insurance Company.Dan enjoyed Bar-B-Qs with the family, building furniture, photography and astronomy. Dan lost his battle with cancer and can now be counted among the stars in the sky.Dicken Funeral Home and Cremation Service, Elyria, handled arrangements.
