Danny Gene Robertson, Jr. 46, of Spencer, WV, and formerly of Elyria, died May 21, 2017 at Roane General Hospital in Spencer. He was born April 22, 1971 in Elyria and was employed at McDonalds Restaurant in Spencer. He collected antiques, baseball cards and coins, was a fan of the Cleveland Indians and a vendor at Flea Markets.Danny was a loving father, brother and uncle and was known for his sense of humor and being a jokester. Danny is survived by children Danny Gene (Jessica) Robertson, III, David James Robertson and Alexis Robertson; grandchildren, Ava and Ian Robertson; his Fiancée Rita Kelly; sisters, Shelly (Steve) Robertson, Carla (Chris) Houghtland and Barbara (John) Mann; stepfather, Carl Petroff; and numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Danny G. Robertson; mother, Linda R. Petroff; grandparents David and Ruth Knerien and uncle Mark Knerien. Friends will be received Thursday, May 25, 2017 from 4 to 7 p.m. at Dicken Funeral Home and Cremation Service, 323 Middle Ave. Elyria. Memorial contributions may be made to the funeral home to help the family with expenses.
