Dave Crazy Coan, 59, of Grafton, passed away April 16, 2013 at his home after a long battle with cancer. He was born December 26, 1953 in Cleveland and lived in Elyria and Grafton most of his life. He had been employed at the maintenance department at Wal-Mart in Elyria. He was a member of Fuller Road Church and enjoyed working on cars, making people laugh and spending time with his grandchildren. Dave is survived by his wife of 34 years, Trena (nee: Coleman); daughters, Crystal (Geoff) Coan-Goins and Deborah (Brandon) Emery both of Elyria; grandchildren, Kyran, Katy, Trena, Brandon, Jr. and Tia; sisters, Gloria Eschweiler of Strongsville and Vicki (Wayne) Gregory and Debbie (James) Krugman, both of Grafton and a brother, Kenneth Coan of Grafton.He was preceded in death by his parents, June and Kenneth Coan, Sr.Friends will be received Saturday April 20, 2013 from 2:00 PM until the time of a 4:00 PM service at Dicken Funeral Home, 323 Middle Avenue, Elyria.
