David Benjamin McDonough, 36, of Elyria, passed away Thursday, October 16, 2014.He was born June 15, 1978 in Elyria, where he was a resident most of his life. David worked as a longshoreman at the Cleveland Port Authority and was a member of Local 1317. One of his interests included listening to music.David is survived by his children Marley J, Logan B. and Declan M. McDonough; mother Kimberly McDonough; sister Karlee (Kevin) Rucker and their son Xavier and aunts, uncles and cousins, all of Elyria.He was preceded in death by his father David J. McDonough in 1994; his maternal grandmother, Shirley Hill and paternal grandfather John M. McDonough.Friends will be received Monday, October 20, 2014 from 6 to 8 p.m. at Dicken Funeral Home, 323 Middle Ave., Elyria. Burial will be private.
