Dave was our next door neighbor for many years on Devonshire in V.O.L. Dave would come over and visit often ...even if only for a few minutes and see how my Mother would be doing. He would say, What's for Dinner Betty? Mom would fix him a plate and they would carry on and laugh. Dave was a part of our daily life....Dave was definitely family to us. He gave my Precious Son his first job and he would mentor Josh as much as he could. I will always be grateful for this Beautiful Soul that would take the time to do whatever He could to help with whatever was going on. I Love You My Precious Friend. May Your Spirit Forever Shine. The World was definitely a Better Place with You In It. You Will Be Dearly Missed. Until We meet again My Precious Friend. All of My Love and Prayers to Dave's Precious Family and Friends. May God Be with Us All Forever. 💜🙏💯
David - a true friend. We grew up together. His family played an important role in the church. My dad was his pastor, Reverend Howard Spriggs, and he always referred to him as Father Spriggs. David's obituary depicts the true David. He lived life to the fullest. After several years passed and our lives had gone separate ways periodically I would get a call and it was David reminiscing about old friends, church and his love for his family and how proud he was of each one. The phone will no longer ring with David on the other end of the line. He is much to busy now rejoicing with his beloved wife, his mom and Father Spriggs. He has now reached his main goal in life. Our thoughts and prayers are with his family and his sweet sweet sister Diana who lovingly gave most of her time to caring for him the past few years of his life.
