Deborah M. Bordy (nee: Whitmer) 56, a lifelong Elyria resident, passed away suddenly January 10, 2012. She was born October 12, 1955 in Elyria to Frank and Dorothy (nee: Campbell) Whitmer. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, especially her grandson, Jonathan and her dog, Willie. She loved motorcycling and other recreational activities.Deborah is survived by her husband of 20 years, Robert Bordy; son, Curtis Whitmer; daughter-in-law, Laura (nee: Bolyard) Whitmer; brother, Gene Whitmer (Janet); grandson, Jonathan Whitmer; nieces, Jessica Whitmer and Jacquie (nee: Whitmer) Moore and other family and friends. A celebration of her life will be Sunday 4:00 PM January 22, 2012 at Avon Lake Landings Party Center 425 Avon Belden Road, Avon Lake, Ohio. Dicken Funeral Home and Cremation Service, Elyria was in charge of arrangements.
