Deborah L. Gladish (nee Thompson), 63 of Vermilion, died February 12, 2015 at Ames Family Hospice House in Westlake.She was born August 20, 1951 in Elyria and was a 1970 graduate of Elyria High School. She moved to North Ridgeville from Elyria and then to Vermilion in 1990. For the past 15 years, she has been employed as a receptionist in the office of James Lisi, M.D. Debbie enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, doing word puzzles, reading, cooking, listening to country music and Elvis Presley.Debbie is survived by her husband of 43 years, Gaylon Gladish; son Russell Gladish; daughter Darla (Robert) Louk; grandchildren Noah, Owen, Natalie and Travis; mother Dorothy Thompson; brothers James (Debbie), Jack (Diane) and David (Sue) Thompson; sister Pat (Mike) Ross, Sandy (Allen) Peters, Brenda (Rocky) Edmonds and Sheryl (Gary) Jones; many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and special friends.She was preceded in death by her father Leslie Jim Thompson in 1996.Friends will be received Sunday, February 15, 2015 from 2 P.M. until the time of a 5:00 P.M. service at Dicken Funeral Home and Cremation Service, 323 Middle Ave., Elyria, OH. Reverend Fr. Bill Bouhall of St. Thomas More Parish, Brooklyn, OH will officiate. Burial will be in St. Mary Cemetery, Elyria.
