Dennis A. Scholle, Jr., 38, of Elyria, died suddenly July 12, 2016.He was born March 10, 1978 in Elyria and was a 1996 graduate of Elyria High School and a 2003 graduate of Ohio State University.Dennis had been employed in the construction industry, currently as a safety director. He and his family had lived in Maryland for ten years before recently returning to Elyria. He and his wife were Cub Scout and Boy Scout leaders and also enjoyed watching their childrens sporting events and performances. He was an avid Ohio Sate University sports fan. Other interests included Jeeps, camping and cooking.Dennis is survived by his wife Leanne E. (nee Brumley); children Nathan, Aubrey, Connor and Liam; parents Dennis A. and Pam Scholle, Sr. of Elyria; sisters Kendra Scholle of Elyria and Kyle Ann (Barry) Orvis of Nottingham, MD; several nieces, nephews and will also be missed by many other family and friends.Friends will be received Friday, July 15, 2016 from 4 to 7 p.m. at Dicken Funeral Home and Cremation Service, 323 Middle Ave., Elyria. A funeral service will be Saturday, July 16, 2016 at 1:00 p.m. in the funeral home with Reverend Kathryn Ketchum officiating. Private burial will be in Brookdale Cemetery, Elyria. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Scholle Memorial College Fund at any Fifth Third Bank.
