Diane R. Glime Reitz (nee Kilgore), 77, of Elyria, died May 14. 2016 at University Hospitals Elyria Medical Center.She was born March 30, 1939 in Elyria and was a 1957 graduate of Amherst High School.For many years, beginning in 1965, Diane was employed as a nurse technician at University Hospitals Elyria Medical Center. She was a member of St. Jude Church and enjoyed traveling, crafts and spending time with her grandchildren.Diane is survived by a daughter, Pam (John) Attkisson and a son, Rick (Kathy) Glime, both of Elyria; grandchildren Katie Attkisson, Joleen Cole and Jonathon Mueller; 3 great grandchildren; sisters Sally (Daniel) Dietlin and Robin Zsigray; brother Terry (Sandi) Kilgore; stepson John (Beth) Reitz and friends Mike and Michelle Wisnor and their children, Brianna, Lauren and Sydney.She was preceded in dearth by husbands, William S. Glime in 1995 and Robert L. Reitz in 2002; daughter Marcia Glime in 1977; parents Richard and Lois Kilgore and a sister, Gwen Elliott.Friends will be received Tuesday, May 17, 2016 from 6 to 8 p.m. at Dicken Funeral Home and Cremation Service, 323 Middle Ave. Elyria. A Mass of Christian Burial will be Wednesday, May 18, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Jude Church, 590 Poplar St., Elyria. The Reverend Father Frank P. Kosem will be the Celebrant. Burial will be in Ridge Hill Memorial Park, Amherst Township. Memorial contributions may be made to Friendship Animal Protective League, 8303 Murray Ridge Rd., Elyria, OH 44035.
