I was so saddened to read of Pete's passing. I had occasion to cross paths with Pete for many years at various city and county functions. I always found Pete to be upbeat, friendly to all, and a pleasure to be with no matter the circumstance. He will be in my prayers.
To the family and friends of The Rev. Doctor Peter, and also Claudette Mealwitz: May God shower comfort and peace upon you knowing that both Peter and Claudette are now together in Heaven. We knew them well during our years in Lorain, 1977-1998, when I, Gary, was Pastor at Zion Lutheran Church. They were great witnesses for Christ as Savior, and great people of God.
