Kay Phillips Dorazio
Seeing DoDo's death notice brought back many memories of life as a kid on W. 54th and of St. Boniface. She was a sweet and happy person who joined another friend and me in trying to form a Rock Hudson fan club. I still have one membership card somewhere with our 3 names on it, but it never got off the ground My first introduction to real Italian food (not something in a Chef Boyardee can)was cooked by DoDo's mother for a group of us kids. It was SO GOOD, and it was the first time I ever tasted black olives, too. I'm 2 yrs. younger than DoDo, so our lives separated as we grew older. I'm sure she is happy in heaven now, and I smile and raise a toast to her! I'll see her again someday, I'm sure.
