Donald A. Cervenka, 78, of Elyria, died April 4, 2016 at Ames Family Hospice, Westlake, Ohio.He was born August 18, 1937 in Cleveland and from 1955 to 1957, served in the U.S. Air Force. Donald was employed as a machinist for 17 years at Van Dorn Machinery in Cleveland, retiring in 1990. He was a member of Dr. Martin Luther Evangelical Lutheran Church, Brooklyn, Ohio.Donald is survived by his wife of twenty three years, Patricia L. (nee: Rehak); daughter, Annette (Michael) Clark of Richie County, WV; sons, William (Annette) Joseph, Edward (Erica) Cervenka and Malcolm Cervenka.He was preceded in death by his parents, Edward and Mary Cervenka; son, Chester Joseph and a great grandson.Friends will be received Saturday, April 9, 2016 from 5:00 PM until the time of a 7:00 PM service at Dicken Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 323 Middle Avenue, Elyria. Reverend Linda Gregson will officiate. Burial will be in Brookdale Cemetery, Elyria.
