Although I have not been very active in genealogy in recent years, Don and I worked together to preserve the genealogy and history of West Virginia through his organizations AND the Hacker's Creek Pioneer Descendants. I know that he is "over there" - "up there" - talking and reminiscing with all who have gone before us. Hopefully, I will join him in our great reunion - probably in the not real distant future! To Don's family and Loved ones, Eddy, I and First United Presbyterian Church really miss Don! Always seated behind us there, he greeted everyone with a big smile and hug. He was a true Hero in his service to the community and Church. He spoke often of his family and was very proud of them. Till we see him again in Heaven, may God comfort and keep you in your sadness.
