Donald M. Pierce, 62, of Elyria, died March 30, 2016 at home surrounded by his loved ones. He was born October 24, 1953 in Lancaster, Ohio and served in the United States Marine Corps from 1971 to 1974. A business owner of Pierce and Sons Construction and Pierce Fasteners, he spent his life working alongside his family. He was a member of Roofers and Waterproofers Union Local 44Don is survived by his wife of thirty nine years, Sharon A. (nee: Stefka); sons, Doug (Nicole), Matt, Nick (Shawna), Danny (Carol) and Steven; grandchildren, Shyanne, Cody, Lindsay, Nikki, Tyler and Caleb and a brother, Kenny DeVine.Friends will be received Saturday April 9, 2016 from 10:00 AM until the time of a noon memorial service at Dicken Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 323 Middle Avenue, Elyria.
