Donna Powers Obituary
Donna F. Powers (nee Harbour), 92, of Elyria, died January 19, 2022. She was born September 17, 1929 in Elyria and was a 1947 graduate of Elyria High School. Her passion was gardening, planting and caring for her flowers and working in the yard. She was an animal lover and a member of Pilgrim United Church of Christ. Donna enjoyed spending time with her daughters, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Donna is survived by daughters, Diane (Richard) Wesemeyer, Deborah (Gary) Fildes and Dawn (Ronald) Dusky all of Grafton; 7 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband of 57 years, Donald J. in 2005; son, David F. in 1948; sister, Norma Krugman in 1994; and her parents, Franklin and Edna Harbour. Friends will be received Monday, January, 24, 2022 from 11:00 am until the time of a 1:00 pm service at Dicken Funeral Home& Cremation Service, 323 Middle Avenue, Elyria. Reverend Kurt D. Walker, Chaplain of Wesleyan Village will officiate. Burial will be in Ridge Hill Memorial Park, Amherst Township. Out of respect for our guests, masks are required. Memorial contributions may be made to Pilgrim United Church of Christ, 523 W.
