Donna Tarrant Obituary
Donna L. Tarrant, 64, of New London and formerly of Elyria, died October 12, 2020. She was born February 7, 1956 in Elyria and attended Elyria High School. Donna enjoyed sewing, shopping, dressing up and even made her own nail polish. Her family will remember her as being a loving, friendly, funny person and always knew when she entered the room. Donna is survived by her siblings, Nancy Peak of Norwalk, Tommy Houghtland of Elyria, Ronnie Houghtland of Cleveland, Pamela Mobberly of New London, Judy Hale of Norwalk and Tammy Robinson of North Ridgeville; grandchildren, Darrien Fasnacht and Djuan Kirkendoll; 6 great-grandchildren including, Diamond Kirkendoll and Mali-ah Fasnacht; nieces, Pam Burgess and Lora Youngless; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Elmer and Edna Irene (nee Patchin) Houghtland; husbands, Bay Tarrant and Tommy Fisher; a sister, Patricia Lee and a brother, John Houghtland. Friends will be received Sunday November 8, 2020 from 1:00 pm until the time of a 2:00 pm Celebration of Life service at Dicken Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 323 Middle Avenue, Elyria. Reverend Kathryn Ketchum will officiate. COVID-19 precautions will be observed, masks are required. Memorial contributions may be made to the funeral home to help with expenses.
