Mrs. Pugh was the friendliest face a student could see at Spring Valley elementary school. She always had a gentle smile for you, whether you were getting busted, had to see the school nurse, or just to say hi! Spring Valley and Mrs. Pugh won't be forgotten!
Dot will always be remembered for those big brown eyes and her engaging smile, as well as for her sparkling personality. She is gone, but will never be forgotten. The world is a smaller place with her passing.
Jim and Girls, I want to express my sympathy to all of Dorothy's family. I have not seen her in a long time, but I will never forget her wonderful personality. She was truly a special person.

I had the honor of knowing Dorthy during my sons years at Spring Valley. And she was a tremendous help with my younger son, who was ADHD. And then I found out she was the Aunt to a girl I went to school with, that happend to be one of my sisters best friends.. Love to Charlene and her family...Donna Dotson-Adkins
Charlene and family I am so sorry for your loss, or should I say Dorthy's great reward.... I had the great honor of knowing her in the years of dealing with my sons ADHD at Spring Valley Elementary. She was an amazing person and helped me through so much....

I was a student at Spring Valley 1977-84. Mrs. Pugh was always a wonderful, caring, loving woman who always put up with me "being sick". After awhile I just went to the office sick so I could hang out with her. My thoughts and Prayers are with you all...it's sad when the world loses such a kind heart.
