Dorothy E. Schenfield (nee Prentice), 103, of Elyria, died Sunday, May 26, 2013 at Good Samaritan Nursing Home in Avon. She was born July 11, 1909 in Elyria, where she lived most of her life and she and her husband owned and operated a farm in Eaton Township at one time.She was a member of Washington Avenue Christian Church, Elyria. Dorothy is survived by sons James (Betty) Schenfield of Pisgah Forest, NC, Richard Schenfield of Gibsonton, FL and Bob (Jody) Schenfield of Cleveland, OH; six grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Lester B. Schenfield in 2007; brothers Harley and Fred Prentice and a sister Elvie Shannon. Friends will be received Wednesday, May 29, 2013 from 11:00 a.m. until the time of a 12:30 p.m. funeral service at Dicken Funeral Home, 323 Middle Ave. Elyria, OH with Pastor Greg Thomas officiating.
