Dorothy Louise Keenan (nee Thorpe), 60, of Elyria, passed away October 17, 2021. She was born August 7, 1961 in Bay Village and was a graduate of Columbia High School. Dottie was employed as a food industry manager. She enjoyed watching cooking shows, cooking holiday dinners for her family, and spending time with her family, especially her children and grandchildren. Dottie is survived by her children, Jayson (Lauren) Keenan, Justin Keenan, Tamra McCoy, Trai Keenan, Charlotte “Katie” Keenan, and Gabrielle Coleman; grandchildren, Jayson, Jordan, Olivia, Landon, Carter, Ryan, A’Niyah, Noelle, Avery, Aviana, Deonte, Devin Jr., Natavia, Griffin; a grandbaby due in February; siblings, Ronald (Esther) Thorpe, Russell (Traci) Thorpe, Rebecca Workman, Brenda Thorpe, Kristy (Frank) Di Ruggiero, Wendy (Daniel) Johnston, Jessica Thorpe, and Emma Thorpe and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Wendell and Charlotte Thorpe and siblings, Randy, Scott, Penny, and Roger. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
