Dorothy Pearl Vance, 80, life long resident of Elyria, died October 15, 2019. She was born September 22, 1939 in Mogadore, Ohio and attended Stow High School. She worked as a bookkeeper, a wallpaper hanger, an inventory auditor, and was a small business owner. Dorothy was a Beta Sigma Phi sister, a member of St. John Lutheran Church, and enjoyed Bingo, crocheting, cross stitching, and many other crafting projects and sewing. Dorothy is survived by her children, Carolyn Fahrney, Gerald Calhoun, Brenda Shepherd, and Judith Slater; and many other family members. She is preceded in death by her husband, Robert; and parents.
