Doug Dangerfield Obituary
Doug Dangerfield, 77, of Elyria, passed away January 17, 2022 at Danbury of North Ridgeville after a one-year illness. He was born August 2, 1944 in Elyria and was a 1962 graduate of Elyria High School. Doug served during Vietnam from 1965-1967 in the US Army stationed in Germany. For the past 20 years, he has been associated with Professional Roof Management as a senior consultant. He was a member and past trustee of Elyria Elks Lodge #465. Doug was chairman of Lorain County chapter of Ducks Unlimited for many years and also raised pilot dogs for the blind. Doug is survived by his former wife of 34 years, Vicki of Elyria; daughter, Lynn (Myron) Taylor of Wellington, FL; granddaughter, Hannah (Ryan) Clouse of Delaware, OH; and a sister in law, Genny Dangerfield of Elyria. He was preceded in death by his parents, Benjamin and Sylvia Dangerfield; brothers, Ben, Bob and Tom Dangerfield; and a sister, Chris Galloway. Friends will be received Sunday, January 23, 2022 from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm at Dicken Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 323 Middle Avenue, Elyria.
