Edgar D. “Ed” Mackiewicz, 68, of Elyria, died December 31, 2022 in his home. He was born January 14, 1954 in Detroit, MI moving to Elyria in 1999. Growing up, Ed was an avid artist. He enjoyed caring for animals, reading comic books and was known for wearing his train conductor hat. Ed is survived by a niece, Tammy Mackiewicz of Elyria; nephew, Paul Mackiewicz of Amherst; great nieces, Cynthia and Cassandra; great nephew, Henry; extended family, Barbara Murray, Justin Urig, Tori Rogers and Delilah and many friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Paul and June (nee Marsh) Mackiewicz and his brother, Paul. Services are private.
