Elaine Ellen Everett (nee Butson)Elaine Ellen Everett (nee Butson), 88, of Elyria, passed away November 2, 2018 at Avon Place. She was born July 23, 1930 in Chicago, Illinois, where she worked at Spiegel Company during her teenage years. After moving to Elyria, Elaine was employed at Elyria Memorial Hospital as a ward aide. She was a longtime member of St. Paul United Church of Christ (Community of Faith United Church of Christ) and enjoyed working word puzzles and volunteering.Elaine is survived by sons, Robert G. (Susan) Everett, Rollin J. Everett, Gary T. (Vickie) Everett and Michael J. Everett; 17 grandchildren and over 20 great grandchildrenShe was preceded in death by her husband of 55 years, Rollin Jewel Everett, Sr. in 2006; parents, Gilbert H. and Florence D. (nee Giles) Butson; sons, James R. Everett and William A. Everett; sisters, Hope Gee, Helen Thompson, and Edna Thompson; brothers, James Butson and Robert Thompson and several grandchildren.
