Elden Pitts Obituary
Elden R. Pitts, 77, of Sheffield Lake, died July 19, 2021 at Anchor Lodge Nursing Home, Lorain. He was born August 25, 1943 in Portsmouth, Ohio, was a graduate of Portsmouth High School and served with the US Navy. Elden was employed as tow motor operator at Ford Motor Company, Lorain retiring in 2000. He loved his pets, music, sports and spending time with his family. Elden is survived by daughter, Kelly Spicer of Warrensville Heights; son, Randy Pitts of Denver, CO; partner and companion, Marilyn Robertson of Avon Lake; grandchildren, Jessica and Zachary York; sister, Bev Silvy; brother, Roger Pitts; and nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Andy Ray and Margaret Katherine (nee Nelson) Pitts and a brother, Gerald Pitts. Friends will be received Saturday, July 24, 2021 from 3:00 pm until the time of a 5:00 pm Celebration of Life service at Dicken Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 323 Middle Avenue, Elyria.
