Eleanor B. Shepard, 86 (nee Bruce), Lifelong resident of Elyria, went to be with her Jesus at her home, surrounded by family October 15, 2014.Eleanor is survived by her husband of 65 years, Donald W.; son Bruce (Patty) Shepard of Manassas, VA; daughters Diane (Valentine) Janicek of Avon Lake and Penny (Jeff) Felty of Elyria; grandchildren Meg and Molly Felty, Joshua (Kristen) Janicek, Zachary (Michelle) Janicek, Sarah (Daniel) Kreip and Katie Shepard; great grandchildren Carter and Morgan Janicek, Jackson and Lainey Janicek and Liliana and Sophia Kreip.She was preceded in death by her parents Andrew and Nova Bruce.A private service will be at Dicken Funeral Home, 323 Middle Ave., Elyria with Reverend Stacy Terrell officiating. Burial will be in Ridge Hill Memorial Park, Amherst Township. Memorial contributions may be made to Love Inc. of Lorain County, P.O. Box 1773, Elyria, OH 44036; Salvation Army, 716 W.
