Elio Zerbini Obituary
Elio Paul Zerbini, 87, passed away peacefully, Monday, September 13, 2021 at Life Care Center of Elyria. Elio was born August 4, 1934 in Cleveland, Ohio. He was a 1953 graduate of East High School and a 1957 graduate of Western Reserve University (now Case Western Reserve University). He later graduated from Cleveland-Marshall School of Law in 1965. Elio married his high school sweetheart, Coralene Ford, September 11, 1954. Elio, Coralene, and their five children moved to Elyria in 1968, where Elio served as an assistant prosecutor for Lorain County from 1968 to 1979 and then practiced law privately from 1979 until his retirement. Known as “Z” to his many friends and “Papa” to his loving family, Elio is survived by his wife of 67 years; children Elio (Karen), Cheryl (David), Tony (Deborah) and Cyndi (Dan); 9 grandchildren; and 3 great-grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents, Luigi and Candida; brother, Victor; and son, Michael.
