Elizabeth Bergman Camp (nee: Laing)Elizabeth Bergman Camp (nee: Laing), 94, of North Ridgeville and formerly of Elyria, died, November 23, 2017 at St. Mary of the Woods in Avon. She was born May 14, 1923 in Evanston, Il and was a graduate of Lake Forest College, Lake Forest Il. Betty was a member of First Congregational United Church of Christ, Elyria, served twice on the board of trustees and held several offices as a member of First Church Women. She was a member of The Round Table Book Club and Past President of Elyria Womans’ Club. She had also served on the boards of The American Red Cross, Elyria Salvation Army and American Heart Association.Betty is survived by step-children, Mary Beth Camp (Thompson Morrison) of Portland, OR, Sue Camp Rafferty of Irving, TX, William P. Camp, Jr. of Wooster, OH and Robert L. Camp (Michael Mankins) of San Francisco, CA; six step-grandchildren; nieces, Susan (Larry) Hinsley, Mary Lou Hall and Kathy Hartwell all of Omaha, NE and four cousins.She was preceded in death by husbands, Richard Bergman of forty seven years and William Camp of nine years and parents, John and Marian Laing.
