Elizabeth Betty Keister (nee Wash), 99, lifelong resident of Elyria, died January 5, 2015 at University Hospitals EMH Regional Medical Center.She was born September 23, 1915 in Elyria and for many years Betty enjoyed the many friends and the fellowship she shared with the Jehovahs Witnesses Community and was affectionately known as Aunt Betty.Her family was very important to her and she gave her love generously to all who knew her. Aunt Bettys strength and positive outlook on life was her most special gift. She will remain in our hearts and minds forever.Betty is survived by a sister Ruth Hostetler of Elyria; nephews Jeff Hostetler of Brooklyn, NY, John Hostetler of Medina, Jay Hostetler of Manhattan, NY, Robert Wash of Lorain, William Wash of Gold Canyon, AZ, Dale Zicarelli of Marysville, CA, Carl Zicarelli of Mission Viejo, CA, Brent Zicarelli of Reno, NV and Chris Zicarelli of Reno, CA and a niece Lauren Wenzel of Long Island, NY.She was preceded in death by her husband Kenneth E. Keister in 1973; sister Rose Zicarelli in 2012 and a brother William Wash.A memorial service will be Saturday, October 17, 2015 at noon at Dicken Funeral Home and Cremation Service, 323 Middle Ave., Elyria.
