Elizabeth Betty HarrisonElizabeth Betty Harrison, nee: Forgus, 74, of Elyria, died Friday August 6, 2010 at EMH Regional Medical Center. She was born May 4, 1936 in Cleveland, moved to North Eaton in 1967 and has been a resident of Elyria since 1973. She was a passionate bingo player and enjoyed playing cards, crafts, attending carnivals, including the Lorain County Fair and was a Cleveland sports fan. Betty is survived by sons, William R. Harrison and Timothy J. Harrison both of Elyria; grandchildren, T-Jay, Nicholas, Courtney and Skyler. She was preceded in death by her husband of 36 years, Ray Joe Harrison in 1998; parents, John and Ruth Forgus; sisters, Ellen LaRue, Ann Maus, Virginia Wade, Goldie Yunervich, Irma Ramos and Rose Marie Crabtree; brothers, John, Steve, William, Jonnie and Eugene Forgus and a granddaughter, Angel. The family will receive friends, Sunday from 5-7 PM at Dicken Funeral Home, 323 Middle Avenue, Elyria. A funeral service will be Monday 1:00 PM at Resthaven Memory Garden, Avon. Deacon John Slatcoff of St. Vincent De Paul Church will officiate.
