Ellen A. Ferrebee, 94, of Elyria, died, January 9, 2020 at Westbrook Place in Westlake after a lengthy illness. She was born January 21, 1925 in Black Ash, Crawford County, PA, moving to Elyria in 1969. She and late husband had owned and operated the former F-Bee Plastics in Elyria. Ellen was a member of Abbe Road Baptist Church and enjoyed sewing, quilting, gardening and baking pies. Ellen is survived by sons, David (Cindy) Ferrebee and Richard (Angie) Ferrebee both of Elyria; daughter, Mary (John) Wilkinson of Hudson; nine grandchildren; eleven great grandchildren; sister, Frances Lafferty and a brother, Clifford Minnick. She was preceded in death by her husband of fifty seven years, Harrison U. Ferrebee in 2001; brother, Charles Minnick and her parents, Harry and Mary Minnick. Friends will be received Monday January 13, 2020 from 4:00 PM until the time of a 6:00 PM service at Dicken Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 323 Middle Avenue, Elyria. Reverend Cal Searles will officiate. Burial will be in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville, PA.
