Ellen L. Wright (nee Defibaugh), 51, of Elyria, passed away peacefully October 15, 2015 at Mercy New Life Hospice in Lorain.She was born January 14, 1964 in Elyria, attended Southview High School and later Lorain County Community College.She was formerly employed as a truck driver for U.S. Xpress and had also worked previously for C.R.S.T. International. She enjoyed crocheting, antiques and Victorian homes.Ellen is survived by sons Nicholas T. Wright of Columbia, SC, Corey A. Wright of Ashland, OH and Matthew J. Wright of Lorain; grandchildren Kaleb, Kacey and Kayden Wright; mother Bunice E. Defibaugh of Elyria; sisters Donna M. Ramirez of Oberlin and Linda M. Ball of Elyria; brothers Alan W. Defibaugh of Martins Ferry, OH, Richard D. Defibaugh of Elyria and Eric D. Defibaugh of Sheffield Village and many nieces, nephews and cousins.She was preceded in death by her father Elmer C. Defibaugh in 2011 and a brother Robert Defibaugh in 2010.Friends will be received Friday, October 23, 2015 from 5 to 8 p.m. at Northgate Park Community Center, 2155 Eaton Drive, Avon, OH 44011.
