Elsie J. Sweet (nee: Lengel)Elsie J. Sweet (nee: Lengel), 94, of Elyria, died February 3, 2017 at Wesleyan Village. Elsie was born February 17, 1922 in Elyria and was formerly employed at General Industries. Elsie was a long time member of Magyar United Church of Christ and is survived by several nieces and nephews.Elsie was preceded in death by her husband, Charles H. Sweet in 2006; parents, Steve and Julia Lengel; sister, Helen Sakal; brother, Steve Lengel, Jr. and nephews, Steve Lengel and Ed and Joe Sakal.Private burial will be at Ridge Hill Memorial Park, Amherst Township.
