Elvira Drabik Obituary
Elvira N. Drabik, 73, of Elyria, died June 23, 2021 at The Cleveland Clinic, Cleveland, Ohio. She was born July 6, 1947 in Lodz, Poland moving to Parma in 1954 and was a 1966 graduate of Parma High School. Prior to moving to Elyria in 1990, she was a resident of North Ridgeville. Elvira was employed as an assistant manager at Apples Grocery Store, Elyria retiring in 2005. She had provided foster care to numerous cats and was known as “the crazy cat lady”. She also enjoyed music, cooking, spending time with her children and was proud of her Polish heritage. Elvira is survived by daughters, Traci (Robin) Virant and Jennafer Drabik; son, Michael Drabik; a granddaughter, Briana, all of Elyria; brother, Thomas Norwid and her cat, Bacon. She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard August Drabik in 2008; and parents, Henry and Daniela Norwid. A casual Celebration of Life will be Saturday, July 10, 2021 from 3:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Colonial Oaks Clubhouse, 10425 Middle Avenue, Elyria, Ohio.
