I taught with Evelyn at Cascade in the early 2000s. She was such a sweet person. I remember her being both generous and gentle. She was fiercely proud of her family and loved talking about her children and grandchildren. I recall a funny story when her teacher ID got caught in the laminating machine. We had to quickly cut her lanyard as she was being pulled toward the machine. We laughed about it afterward but it wasn’t quite as funny in the moment. I hope your family can find peace, strength, and comfort during this difficult time. The world will be a little less bright without her.
