Evelyn J. Yancer (nee: Reynolds), 87, of Elyria died June 29, 2017 at University Hospitals Cleveland Medical Center. Evelyn was born October 1, 1929 in Elyria. She was a seventy two year member of First United Methodist Church, Elyria and was a weekly church bulletin volunteer. She was a member of Elyria Moose Club and enjoyed attending The North Ridgeville Senior Center, Tour Bus Casino Trips, knitting and crocheting.Evelyn is survived by daughters, Kathy J. Yancer and Donna M. (Gary) Cambarare both of Elyria and Peggy L. Carruthers of Friendswood, Texas; son, Michael A. (Christine) Yancer of Edinburgh, Indiana; eleven grandchildren; fifteen great grandchildren; sister, Bonnie Wallace; brothers, LeRoy (Carol) Reynolds and Eugene (Gerry) Reynolds and a daughter-in-law, Debbie Yancer.She was preceded in death by her husband of fifty years, Donald A. Yancer in 1998; son, Donald B. Yancer in 2015; parents, Claire and Dorothy Reynolds and a brother, Larry Reynolds.
