Evelyn Large (nee Songer), 89, of Elyria, died Sunday, November 10, 2013.She was born February 10, 1924 in Ironton, Ohio and had lived in Ashland, Kentucky before moving to Elyria in 1994.Evelyn is survived by her sister-in-law Helen Songer of Elyria and several nieces and nephews.She was preceded in death by her husband Jess in 1961; brothers Paul, Orville, Arnold and Vernon Songer; sisters Clara Dove, Ruth Anson and Pauline Smith and her parents Christopher and Essie Songer.Friends will be received Thursday, November 14, 2013 from 1:00 p.m. until the time of a 2:00 p.m. service at Dicken Funeral Home, 323 Middle Ave., Elyria.
