Evelyn Negin Obituary
Evelyn Sue Negin, (nee Kirkhart), 69, of Elyria, died February 13, 2014 at Specialty Hospital of Lorain in Amherst. She was born August 22, 1944 in Charleston, WV and has been a resident of Elyria since 1956.Sue was a 1962 graduate of Elyria High School, where she participated in the marching band and choir. She attended Kent State University and was employed in insurance and commercial real estate. Sue was a strong woman of faith and a member of First United Methodist Church=, Elyria. She enjoyed spending time with her family, travel, crossword puzzles and a fan of the Cleveland Indians. Sue is survived by her husband of forty-six years, Roger J. Negin; sons David K. (Jillian) of Madison, OH and Daniel L. (Jodi) of Marysville, MI; grandchildren Kacie, Kyle and Kalista Negin of Marysville, MI and Seth and Allyson Negin of Madison, OH; father, E. H. Kirkhart and a sister Janetta (Walter) Owens, both of Elyria; nephew William Owens and niece Anaka Negin. She was preceded in death by her mother Euma M. Kirkhart in 2010. Friends will be received Saturday, February 15, 2014 from 1 to 4 p.m. at Dicken Funeral Home, 323 Middle Ave., Elyria. A funeral service will be Sunday, February 16, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. in the funeral home with Reverend Dalton D. Love officiating. Burial will be in Brookdale Cemetery, Elyria.
