Fanny Corral Obituary
Fanny C. del Corral, 83, of Elyria, died August 17, 2015 at Ames Family Hospice, Westlake. She was born March 24, 1932 in Quito, Ecuador where she was raised as one of ten children. She came to the United States August 26, 1965 and lived in New Jersey until moving to Elyria in 1998. Fanny became a naturalized United States citizen in 1994. She had been employed as a seamstress and a home health care aid. Fanny was a member of St. Jude Church, an excellent cook and a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Fanny is survived by sons, Carl (Cathy) Delcorral of Elyria, Mark (Sheryl) del Corral of Amherst, Thomas (Sandy) del Corral and Henry (Donna) del Corral both of Dumont, New Jersey; daughter, Janice (Tim) St. Clair of Elyria; thirteen grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.She was preceded in death by her husband, Carlos Gabriel del Corral in 1993.Friends will be received Thursday August 20, 2015 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at Dicken Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 323 Middle Avenue, Elyria. A funeral mass will be Friday August 21, 2015 at 11:00 A.M. at St. Jude Church, 590 Poplar Street, Elyria. Reverend Father Frank P. Kosem will be the celebrant. Inurnment will be in Quito, Ecuador. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of the Western Reserve, 30080 Hospice Way, Westlake, Ohio, 44145-1077.
