Florence A. Stark (nee Wilker), 100, of Elyria, formerly of Amherst, died Sunday, June 3, 2012 at The Abbewood Assisted Living in Elyria.She was born August 1, 1911 in Amherst and has lived in Elyria since 1933.She was an active member of St. John Lutheran Church since 1933 and enjoyed crafts, reading, crocheting and quilting.Florence is survived by a son Maurice G. (Judy) Stark of Columbus, Ohio; son-in-law Ronald S. Long of Elyria; 11 grandchildren; 19 great grandchildren; 5 great great grandchildren and 1 niece and 3 nephews.She was preceded in death by her husband of 57 years, Maurice George Stark in 1991; daughter Joyce E. Long in 2003; son Norman Long in 1937; sister Lois Jones; brother Norman Wilker and parents Henry G. and Freda M. Wilker..Friends will be received Thursday, June 7, 2012 from 10:00 a.m. until the time of a noon service at St. John Lutheran Church, 1140 West River Rd., N., Elyria, with Reverend James Herbolsheimer officiating.
