To the Beloved Dickerson Family,It is with a heavy heart that I received the news of Mother Dickerson’s passing. Sister Dickerson was a beautiful soul—her life a testimony of love, service, and quiet strength. Her devotion to her family and her ministry in the community will not be forgotten, but will live on in the many lives she touched.I will always cherish the memory of spending a Sabbath with her in Fresno, California. That day, Ava and Stan lovingly planned a surprise Sabbath birthday dinner in her honor. She was radiant, her heart full of joy, and her face lit with a smile that seemed to reflect Heaven itself.Though we grieve her absence, we do not grieve without hope. The Word assures us, “Precious in the sight of the Lord is the death of His saints” (Psalm 116:15), and “Blessed are the dead who die in the Lord… they will rest from their labor, for their deeds follow them” (Revelation 14:13).I look forward with hope and anticipation to seeing her joyful smile again—when we gather around the table in God’s Kingdom, in the earth made new. As it is written, “And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying… for the former things are passed away” (Revelation 21:4).My sincere prayer is that each of us will hold firm to the blessed hope of Christ’s return, so that we may all reunite with Mother Dickerson at the great banquet table of Heaven. With love, sympathy, and the peace of Christ,Chaplain Raynard Allen
