Frank R. Bottomlee, 79, a 34 year resident of Elyria, died Monday, November 28, 2011 at Lois Stokes VA Medical Center in Cleveland.He was born November 18, 1932 in Wellington, OH, attended Wellington High School, and served with the U.S. Air Force from 1950 to 1954.For 30 years he was a semi truck driver and he enjoyed camping, fishing and reading.Frank is survived by his wife of 11 years, Mae Parrish Bottomlee; daughters Debra Brown of Malvern, OH, Linda Baxter of Wakeman, Jessie Logan and Roberta Patton, both of Wellington; son Kevin Parrish of Elyria; stepdaughters Donya and Vilena Parrish, both of Elyria; grandchildren and a foster son Austin Facemyer of Elyria.He was preceded in death by his parents John and Emma (nee McCoy) Bottomlee; brothers Harold and Luther Bottomlee and a sister Bonita Nichols.Family will receive friends Thursday from 11 a.m. until the time of a noon service at Dicken Funeral Home, 323 Middle Ave., Elyria. Reverend Ray Anglea will officiate. Burial will be in Brookdale Cemetery, Elyria with Elyria V.F.W. Post 1079 conducting military honors. For online condolences, visit www.dickenfuneralhome.com
