Frankie L. GuthrieFrankie L. Guthrie (nee Farley), 82, of Elyria, died February 27, 2019.She was born August 22, 1936 in Oak Hill, WV.Frankie was the former manager of Top Value Stamps in Lorain and Petrie’s at Midway Mall, Elyria. She had also been employed as activities coordinator at The Elyria Methodist Home. She was a former member of First United Presbyterian Church and enjoyed growing flowers, gardening, cooking and sewing.Frankie is survived by her son, Richard L. Guthrie of Elyria; grandchildren, Rebecca and Daniel Guthrie, Maegan Workman and Kailee and Joseph Borrelli; 8 great-grandchildren; brother, Gary (Dot) Farley of Amherst; sisters Linda Burris of Huron, OH and Janith Martin of Culer, IN and nieces and nephews.She was preceded in death by her husband of 34 years, Richard V. Guthrie in 1989; daughters, Debra Guthrie and Melissa Bako; parents, Lowell and Edith Farley and a brother, Tom Farley.Friends will be received Wednesday, March 6, 2019 from 11:00 am until the time of a 1:00 pm service at Dicken Funeral Home and Cremation Service, 323 Middle Ave., Elyria. Pastor Rick Stein will officiate. Burial will be in Resthaven Memory Gardens, Avon.
