Fred D. Carver, 65, of Lorain, died January 16, 2023 after a lengthy illness. He was born December 22, 1957 in Lorain, OH and served with the US Army. For over 25 years, he was employed in the maintenance department at Midway Mall. He had attended Zion Lutheran Church, Lorain. Fred is survived by his wife, Kimberly A. (nee Martincic); children, TJ (Amanda) Prater, Jacob Craft and Elizabeth Craft; grandchildren, Chance, Jase, Camille, Alexis and Kaylani; brother, Virgil (Lorene) Carver; nephew, Joe, nieces, Katie and Mallery; great-nephews, Andrew and Ben and his pet Shih-Tzu, Gizmo. He was preceded in death by his parents, Fred and Mary Carver. Friends will be received Monday, January 23, 2023 from 4:00 pm until the time of a 5:45 pm prayer service at Dicken Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 323 Middle Avenue, Elyria. Reverend Bill Mugnolo will officiate. A memorial luncheon will be noon, Sunday, January 29, 2023 at Zion Lutheran Church, 5100 Ashland Avenue, Lorain. There are no gallery images.
