Gail Wassermann Obituary
Gail H. Wassermann, 80, of Elyria, died December 16, 2022. She was born December 11, 1942 in Columbus, OH and was a 1961 graduate of Elyria High School. Gail received a Bachelor of Science in psychology from St. Lawrence University in Canton, NY. After graduating, she moved to Chicago and was employed for many years for several retail and wholesale companies. Upon returning to Elyria, she was employed at Wesleyan Village from where she retired. She was a long time member of St. Andrew’s Episcopal Church, Elyria. Gail was preceded in death by her father, Robert E. Wassermann in 1986 and her mother, Eileen A. Wassermann in 1997. A service for Gail will be Thursday, December 22, 2022 at noon at Dicken Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 323 Middle Avenue, Elyria. Reverend June Hardy Dorsey, Rector will officiate. Burial will be in Brookdale Cemetery, Elyria. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Andrew’s Episcopal Church, 300 Third Street, Elyria. A special thank you is extended to Hospice of the Western Reserve and Infinite Helping Hands for their exceptional care to Gail during her illness.
