Garrett E. Waldon, 63, of Elyria, died in his home February 8, 2020. He was born July 18, 1956 in Los Angeles, CA and had also lived in Glendora, CA. From 1980-1982 he served in the US Army. For 20 years, he was employed by Montana State University in Bozeman, Montana retiring in 2018. He was a talented musician having played numerous instruments, with guitar being his favorite. Other interests included fishing, playing chess, and family gatherings with his grandchildren. Garrett is survived by his wife of 26 years, Laura B. (nee Jacobs); daughters, Jennifer (Sean) Taylor of Elyria and Rebecca (Alan) Caudill of Newbury Port, MA; and grandchildren, Eleanor, Joshua and Charlotte. He was preceded in death by a grandson, Andrew; and his parents, Frances and Merle Waldon.
