Garrett Fitz, 30, of Elyria, died October 4, 2021 at his home. He was born July 15, 1991 in Elyria and was a 2009 graduate of JVS. He had been employed as a customer service representative at Diamond Products. He loved cars, cooking, reading, playing video games, comics and action figures. He also enjoyed playing his guitar and making music, one of his favorite song lyric was “The sky was bruised, the wine was bled and there you led me on.” Like a Stone by Audioslave. Garrett was a very creative and bright person. He loved all things weird, odd and unique. He had the brightest smile and will be deeply missed. Garrett is survived by his parents, Art and Stacie Fitz; sister, Samantha (fiancé David Slagle) Fitz; twin brothers, Jacob and Lucas (fiancée Elliot Fickling) Fitz; grandmother, Linda Gregory; aunts; uncles and cousins. He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Fred Gregory; aunt, Erin Gregory and great-aunt Brenda Moss. Friends will be received Sunday, October 10, 2021 from 1:00 to 3:00 pm at Dicken Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 323 Middle Avenue, Elyria.
